To our friends and family ~ Welcome to our wedding website! We can't wait to share our special day with you. Find all the details you need to know about our big day here.
I met George on September 29, 2017, on our first date at Harry’s Seafood on the Wilmington Riverfront. What I didn’t know then was that we actually had a connection from long ago—I had attended 4th grade at Ursuline and 9th grade at St. Mark’s with his sister, Tanya. That first dinner with George felt easy and familiar, and as we spent more time together, I realized how much we shared in values, laughter, and the kind of love that grows stronger over time.
Over the years, George and I have built a full life together. We love to travel—especially to Italy and Greece—and we find joy in the simple things like hiking, working on our home and yard, or discovering hidden gems at estate sales to make our space truly ours. George does the cooking (and he’s really good at it!), and I’m more than happy to handle the cleaning—and especially the eating. It’s a rhythm that works for us, just like so many of the routines and shared projects we’ve grown into as a couple.
Together, we’ve also navigated the highs and lows of raising five children over the last eight years. It hasn’t always been easy—blending lives and families takes patience, grace, and a lot of love—but we’ve come through stronger and more connected because of it. All those experiences have taught us how to listen better, love deeper, and appreciate the life we’ve created. Now, we couldn’t be happier to take this next step and officially begin our new chapter as husband and wife with our amazing family by our side.
Cat and I met at a time in our lives when we were both ready for something real—something grounded in honesty, kindness, and connection. From the very beginning, we found comfort in each other’s company and discovered how much we had in common. Whether it was tackling a home project side by side, brainstorming ideas for the yard, or just enjoying a quiet cup of coffee together, we quickly realized how well our strengths balanced and supported one another.
Over time, our bond deepened through shared experiences—dancing at music festivals, navigating the ups and downs of caring for our young adult children, and learning how to grow not only as individuals but also as a team. We’ve come to understand that love isn’t just about the good times; it’s about listening, compromising, showing up for each other, and continually choosing each other.
As we prepare for our wedding, we’re proud of the life we’ve built together—rooted in respect, laughter, hard work, and the deep joy of knowing we’re better together than apart.
